Implementation Certification

The Implementation certification is comprised of flexible on-demand learning and an in-person 4 - day boot camp. The boot camp is led by Planful professionals. The hands-on activities are done in a classroom workshop environment where students can share their knowledge, ask questions, and learn from subject matter experts.

Prerequisites:  Certificate of Completion for Structured Planning, Reporting, and Consolidations 

Certification Objective:

The Implementation Certification provides a comprehensive understanding with a focus on concepts, use cases, and best practices.

Students will begin working through a mock implementation, from discovery, and configuration through project completion. Key components include defining configuration parameters, managing financial dimensions, and budget entities, scenarios, templates, and reporting.

As students progress throughout the certification, they will continue to learn how to effectively manage and deliver a successful customer implementation.

After the completion of the certification program, students will be able to:

• Define and configure General Financial Configuration tasks
• Use Data Load Rules to update Financial Segments and Data
• Configure Dynamic Reports using row sets, column sets, and formatting
• Disburse reports utilizing Report Collections
• Identity and use of Financial Dimensions for planning
• Create and apply a Budget Entity for user access
• Design a Scenario that will be used as a placeholder to store budget data
• Setup templates and the necessary parameters specific to planning requirements
• Design templates that will include mapped rows, calculations, and formatting
• Enable the template in the appropriate Budget Entity and Scenario so users can access them for planning
• Configure Workforce Planning including compensation items, attributes, and employee types
• Setup Consolidation security and user access
• Configure intercompany eliminations and run month-end consolidation process
